iPad 3 Release Date

The second generation iPad has been released already and at present, gadget followers have been predicting the iPad 3 release date. Known as the biggest rumor in the series of iPads, several rumors and Apple employees have leaked some information that the iPad 3 release date will happen in September of 2011. According to reliable sources (who are known to be Apple employees), the second generation iPad was being rushed to meet the launch date, so they are going to make it up by releasing the third generation iPad and this new Apple product is something that everyone will be more than happy to have.

It has been disclosed that iPad 3 will have new features and specifications which includes:

Dual-core processor – iPad 3 will most likely have a new processor. If speculations are true, then iPad will probably have an A5 which includes PowerVR SGX543MP2 graphics like the second generation iPad. However, if the iPad 3 release date will happen in 2012, we could probably see an A6 which is faster than A5.

Retina Display – This was predicted in the second generation iPad which did not actually happen. Probably, for the third generation iPad, we will get to see this. Time can tell and this is something that everyone expects especially during the iPad 3 release date.

NFC chip – It was discussed that iPhone 5 will be using NFC chips, which will allow users to make use of the settings and data through flicking of the wrist. Since iPhone 5 will have similar settings like iPad 3, an NFC chip will most likely be included.

More room for storage – iPad 2 is known to have various storage options (16GB, 32GB and 64GB). And with the inclusion of several features that can be found in the third generation iPad, there is a huge possibility that Apple will incorporate a 128GB storage option to give room for several applications like flash player. More storage means more things that can be done!

SD card slot – This was also predicted in the second generation iPad which obviously did not materialize. However, iPad predictions say that this time, with iPad 3, an SD card slot will be included. Once materialized, this will give iPad users the edge when transferring files; more convenience for everyone!

Better camera – The rear-facing camera of the second generation iPad is not that pleasant at all. iPad 3 might fabricate the fourth generation iPhone camera to give better option for camera lovers.

iPad 3 release date is something that everyone is expecting. However, with the inability to meet the demand for the second generation iPad, the release date of iPad 3 in other countries like the United Kingdom might be different. If September of 2011 is the expected iPad 3 release date in the United States, United Kingdom will most likely expect that the iPad 3 release date will happen sometime in October of the same year.
