Facebook bans the Break Up Notifier application and closes the account of its creator!

Facebook banned the Break Up Notifier application, an application that allowed users to receive updates after their friends changed their relationship status on Facebook.

Dan Loewenherz, the creator of the application, announced on Wednesday on the official Twitter account of the application that Facebook has issued a ban. In the same Twitter post, Dan asks users to intervene and to ask Facebook to allow the application.

Loewenherz also explained that he received an email from Facebook, however that email seamed to be an automatic Facebook email that explains why some applications that are considered to be spam are blocked.
