Fix Crash/Error in Mozilla Firefox (Default Manager v2.2 Crash)

I think most Mozilla Firefox 3.6.10 users are having problems with an error that appears right after the web browser has been installed.

The Mozilla Firefox installation package comes with the Default Manager ( v2.2 ) add-on ( developed Microsoft ) which was removed by Microsoft because of security reasons.

If there is a risk with the Mozilla Firefox browser we don’t understand why this add-on was not removed with the release of the latest version.

How can we fix the crash caused by Default Manager ( v2.2 ) add-on in Mozilla Firefox

1. After we install and open Mozilla Firefox go to Tool > Add-Ons and under Default Manager 2.2 click on “Disable”.

2. After the add-on has been disabled click on “restart firefox”.

The next Firefox version will most likely have this add-on removed from the installation package. Until then, this add-on will continue to bother many users. Let’s hope that he new Firefox version, Firefox 4.0 who is now in Beta 6 stage will be released soon.
